At the moment, SKBT LLC has completed the next stage of development and production of the TKR16V01 turbocharger for the Weichai gas engine of Chinese manufacture. The project is being carried out jointly with Volzhskie Industrialnye Dvigateli LLC, as part of import substitution of TPS44 turbochargers (made in Switzerland) and subsequent localization of production in Russia. In February of this year, SKBT LLC manufactured and successfully conducted bench tests of two TKR16V01 prototypes. Tests as part of the engine are planned for March of this year.

This project is of great importance for SKBT LLC in terms of mastering the technology for producing turbochargers with a radial turbine, which had not previously been manufactured by SKBT LLC, as well as the possibility of entering new markets.
