On March 6, 2024, Kolomna Plant JSC began testing a new modification of the TK35V-36 assembly 4 turbocharger produced by SKBT LLC as part of the 18-9DGM diesel generator.

The 18-9DGM diesel generator is intended as a power plant for the new 3TE28 diesel locomotive - this is a new product of Transmashholding. The three-section diesel locomotive 3TE28 is capable of moving trains weighing up to 18,300 tons and is planned for operation at BAM.
