In anticipation of International Children's Day this year, the Special Design Bureau of Turbochargers donated sets of stationery for children with disabilities to the Comprehensive Center for Social Assistance to Families and Children of the Pervomaisky District of Penza.

The head of the Comprehensive Center expressed gratitude in a letter of thanks for the attention shown and assistance provided to children in particular need of care.

The charitable activities carried out by SKBT, aimed at supporting families with disabled children, have become a good tradition of the enterprise.

According to tradition, the company's employees honored the memory of fallen soldiers at a wreath-laying ceremony at the Mitrofanievsky Cemetery, attended the parade at the Monument of Military and Labor Glory, and participated in an event at the City of Labor Valor stele.

Victory Day is an outstanding event, significant for every family, a symbol of our freedom and independence. Penza Oblast made a significant contribution to the history of the Great Patriotic War. During the war, over 300 thousand Penza residents were mobilized and volunteered for the active army. More than 190 thousand of them did not return from the front. Passing on the memory of the price of Victory over fascism from generation to generation, we pay tribute to the heroes of the war and home front workers, bowing before their unprecedented fortitude and dedication.

From February to May 2025, the Special Design Bureau of Turbochargers organized an event - a competition of children's drawings dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War "The memory of that war is alive in us, we remember the soldiers' feat!"

The competition was held with the aim of increasing the interest of children of different ages in the history of the Great Patriotic War, preserving the memory of its heroic events, and forming a respectful attitude towards war veterans and home front workers of the war years. The children of the enterprise's employees took part in the competition.

The participants presented touching creative works, made in various drawing techniques. It is noteworthy that in some drawings the contestants drew a parallel between the tragic, heroic and courageous events of that distant war and the present time, depicting modern defenders of the borders of our Motherland.

At the end of the event, all participants in the competition received memorable gifts.

On May 7, 2025, on the eve of Victory Day, a solemn ceremony of presenting state, departmental and regional awards was held in the organ hall of the Penza Regional Philharmonic. Among those awarded was a 6th-category milling machine operator of the welding and mechanical section No. 1 of the main production shop of SKBT LLC, Nikolay Mikhailovich Prokhorov. For many years of conscientious work, achieving high production indicators in work and professional skill, the Governor of the Penza Region, O.V. Melnichenko, awarded N.M. Prokhorov with the regional medal "Sursky Frontier".

Nikolai Mikhailovich has a total work experience of 49 years, of which almost 38 years he has worked in the Special Design Bureau of Turbochargers, and is a mentor for younger colleagues.

It is worth noting that Nikolai Mikhailovich's son Sergei Nikolaevich followed in his footsteps and works as a section foreman in the plant's main production shop. Nikolai Mikhailovich's wife Svetlana Alekseevna worked at the enterprise for many years.

On April 9, 2025, a working meeting of representatives of the divisions of Technologies and Motors LLC (TIM LLC) and Transmashholding JSC (TMH JSC) was held at the production site of SKBT LLC.

The delegation of JSC "TMH" was represented by Morozov A.N. - First Deputy General Director of JSC "TMH", Mirny D.S. - Deputy General Director of OOO "TMH ER", Leskov V.V. - General Director of JSC "Penzadieselmash". OOO "TIM" was represented by Elin E.I. - General Director of OOO "TIM"; Vasiliev B.P. - General Director of OOO "SKBT".

The enterprises included in the holding JSC "TMH" have been closely cooperating with OOO "SKBT" in the diesel engine industry for a long time. OOO "SKBT" is the main supplier of turbochargers for engines of various purposes manufactured by JSC "Kolomensky Zavod", which is part of Transmashholding.

The guests were introduced to the production capabilities of SKBT, were shown new developments in turbochargers, and were outlined possible avenues of cooperation.

The specialists from Space Transport Systems LLC who participated in the meeting presented a practical solution to complex multiphysics problems and talked about the integrated approaches and competencies of the repair site in Gorki Leninskiye using the example of repairs of flow parts of aircraft engines.

Following the working meeting, a protocol was signed indicating specific steps for further mutually beneficial cooperation.

On April 5, 2024, the final of the zonal stage of the regional festival among sports families "Dad, Mom, I am a sports family" was held in the Sports Palace "Rubin" in Penza. 37 family teams took part in the competition. All stages of the sports competition - relay races, long jumps from a place, darts, table tennis - were held in a tense struggle. The Tormosin family took an active part in the festival from the Special Design Bureau of Turbochargers.

At the end of the event, the winners and prize winners of the sports competitions were awarded cups and certificates of honor from the festival organizing committee, as well as memorable gifts.
